Carefully pry the fuses out by the metal ends only with some tweezers or eyeglass screwdrivers. Carefully open the fuse holder by sliding in the direction of the arrow. Locate the fuse holder in the male end of the plug (the end with blades). Make sure the lights are not plugged in.So, if you examine the plug first, you can either detect the problem early or cross a potential cause of the problem off your list. Plug issues are relatively easier to detect and fix. Check the fuses in the male end of the plug (the end with blades) Rusty Plug The plug is one of the first parts you should examine if half or the entire string of your Christmas lights is off.Carefully pull the fuse bulb from the lamp holder and replace with a fuse bulb from your spare bulbs package included with each set. On sets with white wiring, there will be fuse bulbs that have a green lamp base. On sets with green wiring, there will be fuse bulbs that have a white lamp base.Check the fuse bulbs (bulbs with an alternatively colored lamp base, ConstantON® products only). ![]()
